Special Recreation Services of Northern Lake County (SRSNLC) provides recreational programs and services for individuals with special needs for the residents of the Round Lake Area, Lindenhurst, Waukegan and Zion as well as their surrounding communities. It is our mission to educate our citizens to become responsible, productive, healthy and contributing members of society by preparing them through recreation with a dynamic and caring environment, which excites them and invites them to participate. SRSNLC Bugs & Nature Playdough Activity Box

Sensory bins have a variety of benefits including but not limited to: development of fine motor skills; encourages language development and independent/imaginative play; and can promote a calming environment. SRSNLC is always looking for people interested in donating some time to a wonderful cause working with persons with disabilities. Volunteers should have a positive attitude, be outgoing and friendly and enjoy working with people of different backgrounds.
