Due to safety regulations in regard to COVID-19, SRSNLC-Round Lake will not be able to offer Special Olympics sports in Fall 2020.
Special Recreation Services of Northern Lake County - Round Lake is proud to offer a variety of Special Olympics sports throughout the year. The Superstars compete both at an individual level as well as at a team level. Superstars will attend tournaments at the district, sectional, and state level depending on qualifications. With our wide variety of sport offerings, there should be a sport or two just for you.

- Track & Field (Spring)
- Soccer Team (Spring)
- Golf Unified (Summer)
- Golf Skills (Summer)

- Bocce Ball (Summer/Fall)

All athletes signing up for a team sport or interested competing at Special Olympics tournaments, must have a valid Special Olympics Medical Application on file. This form must be completed by doctor and submitted at the time of registration. Team sports that require the Special Olympics Medical Application are the basketball senior team, soccer, and volleyball.
If participating in an individual sport and you are not interested in competing at Special Olympics tournaments, you must sign a "No-Compete" Waiver at the time of registration.
Athletes must display the ability to conduct themselves in a socially-appropriate manner and sign off on the SRSNLC Athlete-Sportsmanship Contract.
All athletes will receive a Special Olympics Handbook at the beginning of each season and parents/guardians are required to attend any meetings scheduled.
