Itch to Stitch
Join us this summer for lessons in learning the basics of crochet and knitting. All skill levels are welcomed. Loretta Fivizzani will be teaching this class. Learning to handcraft can help improve fine motor skills and enhance problem-solving abilities. Supplies are provided.
Strength and Stretch (Seated)
Enhance your strength and flexibility in this chair-based exercise class. We will focus on performing movements that will improve mobility in your everyday life. We will also use dumbbells to add resistance in order to strengthen the muscles and support the core and back. Class led by Josephine Champion.
Chair Yoga
Develop skills that promote holistic health & wellbeing. Yoga can have positive effects on the heart, mind, body and soul, even for those with physical limitations. All skill levels are welcomed. Exercises will be done with a chair. Come for contentment of heart, peace of mind, relaxation of body and quietness of spirit. Class led by Melissa Hollander.
Zumba Gold
Zumba Gold is for active older adults, beginners and anyone looking for a lower impact workout. This modified Zumba Class recreates the original moves you love at a lower intensity. Participants are guided through simple choreographed movements that are east to learn and follow.
Meal and a Movie
Join us for some food and fun as we come together to eat lunch and see the newest movie releases. We will meet at the Park District and travel to Perry's Steakhouse for lunch and then the show! The movie will be chosen about 1 week prior. Fee includes the cost of the movie and transportation. Lunch and movie snacks will be on your own. Optional- On Fridays Perry's has lunch-cut portion of their Famous gluten-free Pork Chop topped with their Signature Steak Butter served with whipped potatoes and homemade applesauce for $19
Cubs @ Brewers
Wear your Cubs or Brewers gear and cheer on your favorite team! There’s not a bad seat in the house at American Family Field! Price includes transportation and the ticket. Food is on your own.

I & M Canal Boat Trip and Captain's Lunch
Step back into 1848 with our period-clothed, “salty” boat crew and friendly mule guiding you along the historic Illinois & Michigan Canal for an hour-long ride from Lock 14 to the Little Vermillion Aqueduct and back. Then, enjoy a hearty Boat Captain’s Lunch in the I&M Canal Visitor Center Vintage Room, housed in a historic building and featuring additional information and exhibits about the I&M Canal.

Meal and a Movie
All Season's Apple Picking and Lunch
Join your friends on this fun trip to the orchard! First we will enjoy a coffee and apple cider donut, then we will go out to the field to pick our own apples. Then sit down and relax for a lunch together and finally stop in the store to buy some pies, jams, donuts and gifts. Transportation, coffee, donut, ¼ peck of apples is included. Lunch and shopping is on your own.
Crusin' Connoisseur
Are you wanting to try new restaurants but don’t know where to go? We will meet at the Park District and travel to a semi-local restaurant to enjoy lunch together. Registration fee covers transportation. Cost of lunch is on your own. The restaurant will be chosen two weeks prior to the day of the trip. Join us on Wednesdays for rounds of Bingo. Five Bingo cards are only $2. We’ll play from 12:30 - 3 pm; may end earlier if we run out the pot! No registration required.
Monday and Tuesday Game Days
Join us on Mondays and Tuesdays for games! Our Senior Center "game station" has many games that will keep your competitive side roaring. Grab a couple of your friends and enjoy an afternoon of fun. From 11 m - 2 pm Mondays and Tuesdays. No registration required. Free
Friday Pinochle
Whether you are an expert or beginner, join the group for this fun trick-taking game! From noon-3 pm. No registration required. Free.
Walking Club
Enjoy the indoor walking space in the Community Center gym. Walk, talk and meet new friends!
Participants must sign a waiver. Free.
Please note new Summer times: Senior Walking is from 1 pm-3 pm from June 9 – Aug. 15**.
**Also, if we have inclement weather, senior walking will be canceled so Summer Camp may use the gym.
Fall indoor walking is from 12:15 -2:15 pm Monday-Friday. Senior Walking Club may be cancelled on days when the school district has the day off.
