Camp Day: 9 am - 3 pm (regular camp) 
Extended Camp: 6:45 am - 6 pm
Specialty Extended Camp: 3-6 pm

Summer camp can be one of the most rewarding, unforgettable experiences in a child's life. The camp provides children with a community of caring mentors and experiential education that promotes the building of both friendships and character while working together to overcome challenges.

The Round Lake Area Park District's Summer Camp Program strives to provide a safe and fun environment for all children. Our programs are supervised by qualified staff who are certified in first aid and CPR. All staff receive extensive training in providing an appropriate day camp experience for your child. Our programs are under the supervision of PDRMA (Park District Risk Management Agency) which focuses on the safety of our participants, staff, and camp activities. PDRMA standards ensure that camp staff participates in First Aid & CPR training, as well as training in all aspects of camp curricula and behavior management.

A $90 ID/$130 OD non-refundable registration fee is due at the time of enrollment. Emergency Forms Automation for Recreation (EPACT) will email you to fill out your child's health history and emergency forms. You need to complete the online packet and share it with the Round Lake Area Park District. You will need two emergency contacts and a photo of your child to upload. If you have completed EPACT for us or another organization, you will be asked to update your account and share it with us.

REFUND/TRANSFERS POLICY

Customer cancellations must be accompanied by a written Refund Request in person at 814 Hart Rd. or emailed to registration@rlapd.org.

Camp - Customer cancellations/transfer requests made less than 10 business days prior to the week of service will be subject to a $50 cancellation/transfer fee per camper for each request.

CAMP In-District FEE
Summer Camp 2026 (9 am - 3 pm) $180/week
Summer Camp Extended 2026 (6:45 am - 6 pm) $220/week
Specialty Extended Summer Camp 2026 (3 pm - 6 pm)* $35/week

*This 3-6 pm extended camp option will run the same hours as our afternoon extended portion of camp and focus on different topics throughout the summer including STEM, art, sports, and more! Please note: your child must be signed up for the regular or extended camp day to be enrolled in this afternoon extended camp*

 

We use ePACT to collect camper information for our camp program. Once you've finished the payment portion of your registration, you will receive an email with a link to ePACT. That link will take you to the medical history and emergency information portion of the registration process. Click HERE for more information about ePACT.

Your registration is complete when you follow the email link and click "Submit" on the ePACT website (this must be done no later than 5 days prior to the start of camp or your spot will be forfeited)!

An orientation will be held from 6-7 pm June 4, 2026 in the Senior Center at Rolek Community Center at 814 Hart Road, Round Lake.

Campers should come dressed in comfortable clothes and shoes that can get dirty. Gym shoes are highly recommended. Campers should bring a reusable water bottle, a healthy lunch, a healthy snack, a swimsuit, a towel, and sunscreen to camp each day.

 

Scholarships

The Round Lake Area Park District provides financial assistance/scholarships to residents who are interested in enrolling in a program, but are unable due to financial difficulties. Learn more.
