In District vs. Out of District

The term "in district" refers to a person who lives within the Round Lake Area Park District boundaries. The owners of properties within the Park District boundaries contribute financial support to the Park District through property taxes. If you are unsure if you live within the district boundaries, check your voter's registration card which identifies all the taxing districts you live in, or check the Lake County's web site, www.lakecountyil.gov/199/Property-Taxes. This site will allow you to see, by your home address, what taxing districts you live in. Or, if all else fails, call us!

Certificate of Liability Insurance for Rentals

Government Organizations/Businesses or Corporations must provide a Certificate of Liability Insurance (COI) for rentals of Park District facilities, including museums.
All organizations, vendors, and contractors must present a COI before their event. Please have your insurance company forward a certificate of insurance showing current policy information for general liability. Regarding general liability, the Round Lake Area Park District must be listed as additionally insured. Please use the following statement: the "Round Lake Area Park District" is named additionally insured with respect to liability arising out of the named insured's operations and/or activities."

COI's can be emailed to Registration@rlapd.org.
