Primary Ballet is an exciting introduction to classical ballet for students aged 5-7 years old, designed to build on the foundational skills learned in earlier dance classes like Ballet & Tap. This full beginning ballet class focuses on developing proper technique, body alignment, and basic ballet positions in a fun and nurturing environment.

In Primary Ballet, young dancers learn the essentials of ballet through engaging exercises at the barre and across the floor, which promote strength, flexibility, and coordination. Classes emphasize creativity and self-expression, allowing students to explore their individuality while learning the importance of discipline and focus.

The Round Lake area is looking forward to continuing providing dance classes throughout the summer season! Our experienced instructors will lead this (8) week summer session. Students will learn fundamentals and techniques while having fun and making new friends. Classes are held at the Rolek Community Center in studio.
Participants must be age appropriate by class start date. Shoes and dancewear must be provided by the dancer. Additional detail regarding dance, including dress code, can be found on the RLAPD website.
