Starting Monday, October 15, parking lot improvements will begin at the Robert W. Rolek Community Center. The current entrance side of the parking lot will be blocked off for asphalt paving. All traffic will be directed to enter and exit on the current exit side of the lot. There will be some parking spaces by the Aquatics building that will be blocked off to accommodate the two-way traffic. The main parking lot will be blocked off from the light poles to the southern edge of the parking lot in order to repave the first half of the parking lot.
Approximately one week later, we will shift all traffic to the newly paved entrance of the parking lot and block off the exit side of the lot in order to pave the remaining portion of the lot closest to the buildings. The rear parking lot will remain open throughout the entire paving project for our customers to park.
Changes for Before School Care:
Buses will drop-off and pick-up across the street at the Warming House* while construction takes place. Morning staff will walk the children across the street around 7:20 am. If you arrive after 7:20 am, please go directly to the Warming House. Breakfast will be cleaned up prior to their journey across the street. Afternoon pick-up for parents should be unaffected by this change.
*The Warming House is the building at the base of Hart's Hill to the right of the volleyball court.
We apologize for any inconvenience this will cause.
