Angling All Stars

Ready to level up your fishing skills? Join this three-day adventure at Hook Lake, Nippersink Forest Preserve, and Lakefront Park (RLB). Bring your tackle—or use ours—and learn new techniques, explore different waterways, and have a blast with other young anglers. Tuesday meet at Hook Lake pier, Wednesday, meet at Nippersink Forest Preserve parking lot B. Thursday meet at Lakefront Park, Round Lake Beach near the boat launch.

Note: Fishing and paddling programs are weather dependent. In the event of heavy rain, thunder, or lightning, programs will be cancelled.

Join us for a fun-filled morning at our Annual Family Fishing Event, proudly sponsored by the Huebner Fishery Management Foundation! Bring the whole family to enjoy fishing, relaxing by the shore, and memorable pontoon boat rides. Pre-registration is required to qualify for exciting giveaways, including free fishing poles and bait. Pontoon boat rides are available on a first-come, first-served basis and fill quickly—so be sure to arrive early to secure your spot.
