Learn from an American Canoe Association Instructor about what you need to know in order to keep yourself and others safe on your next kayak outing. Objectives of course include: understand that prevention is the key to a safe outing, understand how to avoid potential dangers, develop and practice key self-rescue skills, learn to focus on fast, simple, and low-risk rescue techniques, develop skills to manage minor in-water incidents. You will need to sign a paddling waiver at the time of registration. Ages 18+.
