Location: Meet at Grant Woods Long Lake Trail Head at 25233 W Rollins Rd, Ingleside, Illinois

Description: This program is designed for paddlers with their own vessel. Be prepared to paddle between 5 and 7 miles of shoreline! Provide your own Type 3 or Type 5 PFD along with boat, paddle(s), and personal belongings. Park District will provide other safety gear and guide participants around Long Lake. Participants must provide their own transportation to launch. 

Notes:
There will be prolonged times of sitting in a kayak/canoe. Bring a lunch and water. Dress for the weather, don't forget sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat! Meet at Grant Woods Long Lake Trail Head at 25233 W Rollins Rd, Ingleside, Illinois. No trailers allowed, bring boat on car-top carrier. Restroom available at LCFP site.
