Food Drive

Share your abundance this holiday season by contributing to our Food Drive. Drop off donations at the Community Center during Guest Services hours or bring them to the Holiday in the Hart event on Dec. 11.

For each donation, you will receive a raffle ticket for a drawing for a family pass to the Aquatic Center. The drawing will take place on Dec. 13.

Submit your letter to Santa through our Santa's Mailbox!

You can print out and use our letter template found with the link below or use your own stationary to write Santa.
Bring your letter to Santa to the Community Center. No postage is required - Santa picks the letters up himself - but we need a return address so the big man can write you back!

The mailbox will be set up in the foyer of the Robert W. Rolek Community Center at 814 Hart Rd., Round Lake, and is accessible during regular Guest Services hours.

You can also send your requests to Santa electronically. Find a letter form to fill out for Santa electronically below.

Dates: November 1 - December 11, 2021
Location: Robert W. Rolek Community Center

Did you know Santa likes to visit Round Lake Area Parks as much as you do?

We've received intel from our helper elves that Santa and Mrs. Claus will be at some Round Lake Area parks working on his naughty and nice lists from Dec. 6-10. Bundle up and head over for your own photo opportunity with Santa and Mrs. Claus in his sleigh!

We expect Santa will be at each park below starting at 10 am for about an hour.

Dec. 6: Shaw Park
Dec. 7: Meadowview Park
Dec. 8: Cranberry Lake Park
Dec. 9: Prairie Walk Park
Dec. 10: Fox Chase Park

Holiday in the Hart

Join us outside the Community Center for some holiday fun from 3-5 pm Saturday, Dec. 11. Walk the decorated path in Hart's Woods to visit Santa, who will be on hand  to listen to children's gift wishes and for photos. Make a craft, warm up by a fire pit, and purchase some hot chocolate or doughnuts from My Mama's Mini Donuts Food Truck.

Then at 5 pm, head over to Hart's Hill Park for a holiday light show.

This event is free, with the exception of food truck purchases.
