"Fun"ds for Recreation Scholarship Program
The Round Lake Area Park District Board of Commissioners recognizes that not all residents can afford the programs that would benefit them. Depending on fund availability, the Park District may provide assistance to those who qualify, based on eligibility requirements. The “Fun”ds for Recreation Scholarship Program is available to Round Lake Area residents only.
Those seeking assistance must complete an application and send it to the Round Lake Area Park District, Attn: Recreation Services Director, 814 Hart Road, Round Lake, IL 60073. Applications will be reviewed and the Park District will notify the applicant within 2 weeks of their scholarship status. All requests for scholarships must be received a minimum of 3 weeks prior to the start of any requested program/activity. The maximum assistance allowed per participant is one activity/program per session.
