The Children's Neighborhood Museum
Imagine a tot-sized replica of a town built especially for kids or a place where they can drive a car to the grocery store, gas up at the local gas station, be a star on stage or a pizza stand owner! Our Neighborhood is a place where children ages 1-6 can practice various roles in a community, challenging themselves to explore, imagine and create, exercising both mind and body. They may even enter the Neighborhood's "backyard" where they can climb, crawl, slide and be busy bodies in a safe environment! We have designed our Children's Neighborhood Museum specifically for children 1-6 years old. We even meet a variety of "Illinois State Learning Standards" that have been developed for Early Childhood Developmental Education.

Summer Hours begin on June 8th:
Mornings: Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays: 10:30 – 12:00 am
Saturdays: 9:30 - 11:00 am
Afternoons: Mondays: 2:30 - 4 pm;
Tuesdays: 12:30 – 2:00 pm FREE admission
Wednesdays: 12:30 – 2:00 pm
Evenings: Wednesdays: 4:30 - 6:00 pm

Admission Prices
$4 per child. Maximum 30 children, so get here early! All Children must have an adult chaperone.

Special Events for May
For your entertainment there will be Magic Shows and Theatre Performances appropriate for children up to 10 years old. All shows start at 10am. Tickets are $3 in advance, and $4 at the door.
